Spanish Waiter & Strawberry Cake

With the delivery date of my pieces for The Seattle Labour Temple show fast approaching, I have been super busy. I managed to paint each of these over a single weekend with just some minor touchups within the next few days. I framed Spanish Waiter while it was still a bit wet. These will be the two big pieces at the show. 

Spanish Waiter, 48x36 inch oil on canvas.

Strawberry Cake, 36x48 inch oil on canvas.

Somehow painting these fast gave me a bit more freedom to make quick decisions and move forward. I could have thought out all the brown a bit more, but I think it works. Regardless, it's done.
